HVACR career? All of our HVACR members start their career by completing a 2yr HVACR degree at a technical college, Local 455 can provide you a job as a pre-apprentice during a portion of this stage. After completion of the 2yr program you will begin your training at Local 455s 100,000 sq ft state of the art training center as a 1st yr apprentice. Throughout your 5yr apprenticeship you will be working full time earning cash and receiving excellent benefits while attending class two nights a week.

Example of a 2yr HVACR program would be: Century College's HVACR Program.

Steamfitter/Pipefitter/welder career? Start by applying to St. Paul College. Local 455 has a 9 month day school Pipefitter course to prepare you for your first day on the job. After completion of the 9 month course you will start your training at Local 455s 100,000 sq ft state of the art training center as a 1st yr apprentice. Throughout your 5yr apprenticeship you will be working full time earning cash and receiving excellent benefits while attending class two nights week.
